THE PEOPLE’S VOICE ABOVE POLITICS

I’m a parent, a neighbor, a community builder

I’ve walked our streets at night

wondering if they’re safe enough for my kids

I’ve seen bikes and packages vanish from my backyard

And neighbors’ cars being vandalized

I’ve felt the squeeze of living costs and home affordability

I have seen families in our public school having to raise large amounts

to retain teachers and maintain basic standard of education

I show up for my community

No school principal during worst days of the pandemic?

As the Local School Council Chair, I led our council

And supported our school community

to navigate an uncertain and difficult period

COVID hit? We organized one of the first vaccination drives in the community

With our Girl Scouts, we planted gardens, fed the unhoused,

and cared for survivors

Because community isn’t something you talk about

It’s something you do

I’ve never stopped showing up.

Not for a title

Not for the spotlight

My priorities aren’t shaped by political insiders or groups

My vision for our community is a shared vision, shaped by our collective voices

Every decision made in Springfield ripples through our schools, our parks, our public transit, our homes

That’s why I’m running to be Your Representative for the IL State House

To bring common sense solutions to Springfield

And fight for our neighbors — not special interests

“WHEN IT’S YOUR FAMILY ON THE LINE

YOU DON’T PLAY POLITICS, YOU FIGHT!”
