Parent, neighbor, community builder.
I raise my two beautiful girls in our 12th district
I love every corner of Lincoln Park, Gold Coast & Lakeview
Our walks to the lake and heartwarming neighborly relations
The weekend buzz in the parks & cafes is a charm in itself;
Yet, when I walk our streets
I always wonder how we could make it safer for our community
I’ve seen bikes and packages vanish from my backyard
And neighbors’ cars being vandalized
I’ve felt the squeeze of living costs and home affordability
I have seen families in our public school having to raise large amounts
to retain teachers and maintain basic standard of education
I know these struggles — because they’re mine too.
From Service, to Solutions
As the Local School Council Chair, I led our council
when there was no school principal during worst days of the pandemic
I supported our school community
to navigate an uncertain and difficult period
COVID hit? We organized one of the first vaccination drives in the community
With our Girl Scouts, we planted gardens, fed the unhoused,
and cared for survivors
Because community isn’t something you talk about
It’s something you do
I’ve never stopped showing up.
I show up with you
Not for a title
Not for the spotlight
My priorities aren’t shaped by political insiders or groups
My vision for our community is shaped by our collective voices
Every decision made in Springfield ripples through our schools, our parks, our public transit, our homes.
Together, we shape our priorities
When our families are on the line -
We don’t play politics, we PRIORITIZE and PROTECT!
